We are looking to hire an Automotive Assistant Sales Manager / Senior Sales Executive for our well-established, multi-branded used car dealership in Bury St Edmunds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic professional eager to advance their career.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a volume, premium, or prestige dealership, with at least 2 years of experience. You will be results-oriented, a natural leader, and an inspiring motivator.

Reporting to the General Manager, your main responsibility will be to drive the sales and profitability of used vehicles and associated products.
EMG Business Managers work flexible schedules, including weekends and bank holidays (on a rota basis), to provide our customers with the highest levels of service.

To be successful in this role you will have;

• A proven track record as an Assisting/ Sales Manager within the automotive industry. Alternatively a Senior Sales Executive with skills and experience which demonstrate readiness of a promotional step.
• Good financial and commercial understanding
• A positive and forward thinking work ethic
• The skills and experience to lead and inspire a team
• A proactive and organised approach
• Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working as part of a team in a target driven environment, supporting both shared and personal objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing a professional, personal, and enjoyable customer experience
• Supporting the General Manager in developing and managing sales processes
• Assisting with optimal stock management and profiling
• Contributing to operational efficiency and maintaining the site’s presentation
• Assisting in developing innovative marketing strategies to boost sales
